About the Author

Linda Lewis holds a master's degree in research psychology from the University of Cape Town, specialising in postpartum depression. She works exclusively in the area of perinatal wellness. She started off working at the Postnatal Depression Support Association, where she facilitated support groups for many years. Several years ago she started a private practice where she continues to run support groups for mothers as well as see individuals who are managing fertility difficulties, pregnancy loss or termination and depression / anxiety during and after pregnancy. She has travelled to many hospitals throughout South Africa training maternity staff in postnatal depression. She is on the board of PNDSA. She is married, has two children and lives in Cape Town, South Africa.
